Austin "Long Phi" Doan was born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He is an editor, content creator and media designer, currently based in Toronto, Canada.

Since he was little, Austin has been interested in music and taking his passions seriously, as he completed a degree in Traditional Music & Performing Art from the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing, China.

While studying abroad and working back and forth in his home country as a music performer/producer, Austin had a chance to work on multiple video productions that would unlock his passion for filmography. He spent over 10 years studying and working in the music industry as an awarded professional musician but eventually decided to pursue his passion for filmography and digital media.

Working as a music performer and going on tour has given Austin the opportunity to travel, work and learn about the countries, different cultures, different stories and different people. He didn’t miss the chance to learn everything he could, eventually using that knowledge to transform it into his own works.

Austin is now working as an editor, colorist and media designer in Toronto, Canada. His works include "one last dance - Short Documentary"; "Bad Bad Man - Short Film"; "The Red Scarf - Short Documentary"; etc.
